Expert Watercolor Blending Course

If you have seen any of my artwork you would know that I use bold vibrant colors and they always mix and merge to complete the artwork. This is done by have massive control over water and choosing color.

That's why this course is really interesting!

The course also helps you know how to use the colors to highlight your artwork and subtly use light and shadow to make your artwork look professional.

From leaves, feathers, food and more complex projects, this class helps you gain control over your watercolor blending.

The content is designed to take you on a journey of building your skill. During the 6 weeks, you will be able to practice multiple projects and gain more control.

Transparency and Water Control

In the first week, we will learn what is watercolors, the basic materials required and how to use watercolors. We will also explore transparency by learning how to control water.

Color Wheel and Color Mixing

This week, we learn primary colors, secondary colors and tertiary colors. We will also use different combinations such as complimentary and analogous colors to paint amazing projects.

How to Blend?

We will learn the basics of blending using wet on wet as well as wet on dry technique. We will also learn how to use multiple colors to blends.

Adding Shadow and Highlight

This week we will leanr how to add shadow and highlights to your artwork using some simple tips and tricks. The week ends with a stunning blended leaf project that incorporates everything that we have explored

House Plants Explorations

Using various practice exercises, we will explore various unique house plants and using blends to paint them. House plants such as Monstera, Swiss Cheese plant, etc

Creative Explorations

This week we will be pushing our creativity by painting amazing projects such as watercolor butterflies, self portrait painting, food painting, etc

Who is this for? Could this still help me if I am a beginner?

This course is for artist who are in the early stages of their watercolor exploration. For beginners, I would suggest practicing each project multiple times before proceeding.

I'm very busy. What if I don't have time to do the course now?

You have life time access to the content and can go over the topics multiple times.

What does lifetime access mean?

As a student you will access to the course life long as well as any added bonuses.

What are the materials I would need for the course?

My materials video deep dives into more information about the materials I generally use and my recommendations. However in general - you would need - watercolor CP paper above 180gsm or 90 lbs. Round watercolor brush size 4 and 6 and watercolor paints.
